Apple's release update for app store "Try Before You Buy"

My guess is that apple is trying to appease all the unsatisfied customers who have purchased apps that were not as advertised or in some cases the dam knuckle heads didn't read the app description entirely. In any case, I wouldn't expect anticipate Apple deploying any type of refund protocol. To me it looks as if they have corralled all of the free or "lite" apps in the store. Its seems that most of the apps are games. I noticed one or two navi apps, air mouse and a few athletic apps. Not very impressive... nice try Steve!

Droid X

Another sleek and powerful Android phone was unleashed by our friends from Motorola, the successor of Motorola Droid, the Droid X. Droid X was released just after HTC EVO 4G and Apple iPhone 4 was released in the US.

Motorola Droid X has a 4.3-inch widescreen, 8-megapixel camera that shoots 720p HD video, and has more cool and awesome features that an Android phone can offer. Droid X will run at 1.0GHz, same with the EVO 4G. But it’s way more better than HTC because it has adopted OMAP processors by Texas Instruments rather than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon.

Droid X includes an HDMI output, potentially giving it the same multimedia capabilities as the Zune HD by Microsoft. Droid X has a whooping 8GB of onboard storage and a microSD expansion slot with a pre-installed 16GB card. That’s a total of 24GB available right out of the box! You can expand it for up to 40GB (if you upgrade your microSD to 32GB).

The Droid X will ship with Android 2.1 OS, but Motorola will update it to Android 2.2 by end of July, 2010. Just like Motorola’s previous Droid offerings, the X will by exclusive on Verizon. Starting July 15, Verizon will offer it for only $200 USD after a $100 rebate.

The Droid app store has around 60,000 apps VS the Apple store witch has 200,000. Like Steve Jobs said if you want porn you'll need a droid.

Sharpie creates liquid pencils

We already have erasable pens and mechanical pencils, I suppose this was the logical next step. We just couldn’t keep writing in the same way that other generations did 50 years ago. These Sharpie pencils will allow for you to erase your work up to a certain point. After it’s been sitting for over 3 days you won’t be able to erase it, but for at least a little while you can. These are already making their way to office depot just in time for the back to school frenzy of shopping.

If your in the market for a new camcorder Sanyo has a new camcorder/camera. Full 1080 HD video with a 14 megapixel still camera and its waterproof down to 10 feet. The Turbo Snake....with 3 girls in the house this turbo snake may come in handy!

The Emergency Pro... Not sure how many phones this will fit but it will charge my iPhone. No batteries needed, crank the handle to charge the on board batteries. It comes with a radio, flashlight, horn and a universal phone charger This would be a great addition to Anyones gear bag.

I spent 20 minutes surveying the store and that's all I could find as far as gadgets go.... Oh, I did get a three dollar back scratcher!

It is ideal for business people on the go (not really!), students, children and home users (nope). You can surf the net (but all the pics will have ? rather than the picture), send emails (text only), instant messaging(ok... it will do that well), study, compose documents (txt, not word and don't expect to save more than 2 or 3), manage accounts and spreadsheets (haha), view PowerPoint presentations and lots of other work (good Luck). You can watch movies and listen to music on the SD card or the Flash Drive. Perfect in college to take notes and do online assignments. It easily fits in a bookbag or purse and it is the lightest netbook available. Websites with a lot of photos and detailed content take a little bit of time to load up all the way, but any website that is mainly text, loads in a matter of seconds. You can use this netbook to check email. You can pull it out anywhere there is a wifi hotspot and check your messages, send an email or just browse the web. Well, You get what you pay for! Seems to be Novelty gadget...I cant see allot of reasons to own it. If standard web page browsing is an issue then what is it good for? I guess if your a student of do allot of cloud computing this may assist in some ways... the processor is smaller than found in most cell phones. And the 1800mAH smart lithium-ion battery wont last long either.

Zoom Lens For The Iphone

Princeton iPhone 8X optical zoom Lens

Wow... This is one of the coolest iPhone camera Gadget "ideas" I've found so far! An 8X optical zoom lens built onto a case. at the conveyance of an iPhone, this should put an interesting twist on iPhone photography. The iPhone 3GS does offer anti-shake to some degree, i'll be interested to see how the images turns out while in full zoom.

No price at this time on this particular model.
